Administration |
The administrative structure of the Engineering College has undergone
significant changes bringing in reforms for efficiency and effective
functioning of the college. The Principal, assisted by three Assistant
Principals looks after the administration including the examination activities
of the college. The Council of Members comprising of Faculty Chairmen;
Chairmen, Boards of Studies; Heads of the Departments assists the Principal
for planning academics in the college. The Principal with the support of the
Chief Warden and wardens deals with the hostel administration.
At the individual department level, the Head of the
Department is being assisted by a team of Departmental Committee members for
vibrant functioning of the department. The present administrative setup is the
result of administrative reforms initiated by the University in the direction of
de-centralization for effective governance and development of the college with
higher levels of accountability and transparency.
